Scars therapy
Scar therapy is a form of gentle soft tissue massage based techniques. The aim of the therapy if to
enable movement of the tissues, restore normal function of a joint, enhance healing, improve tone,
texture and in some cases enable normal sensation including numbness. Other techniques used may
also include negative pressure and dry needling.

Exercise
Exercise is an individual approach and can aid recovery. A blend of traditional exercise and Pilates based exercises are used to help achieve goals.

Manual lymphatic drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a massage-based technique designed to assist with lymphatic flow following either damage caused by illness or surgery or genetic reason. MLD when used alongside compression garments can greatly assist in the management of lymphoedema. It can also be used to help manage other types of oedema and can assist in scar treatment.
